All Scripture was gifted to us to be interpreted in the light of day and not the fear of night. God’s Word has always been the source of love and hope so with hope let us explore.

Announcements ....

WHAT: Board Safety Decision
DETAILS:
Many of us, over the years, have witnessed accidents and near accidents involving the burning candles on our altar during service. We all adore the warm glow of a candle...and we all share in the deep meaning behind the AIDs candle which has burned during all services at our church. And also extremely important, we appreciate the generous gift of a Saint in our midst who donated our lovely pulpit candles. These beautiful candles will always remain on our altar. But your Board of Directors, responding to recent and past incidents involving burning candles, decided that open flame of any type, including candles, can no longer be allowed in our current, crowded situation. We must be patient as we head toward a larger (and safer) sanctuary...someday soon. But for now, candles are just unsafe.

WHAT: Cleanliness=Godliness
DETAILS:
Our church, small as it is, is truly “the church alive!” There is something going on almost every day of the week. Because of that, we do need everyone and all groups meeting at the church to help us keep the church clean. Please carry out the garbage after your meetings or gathering, put back the chairs or tables, vacuum up after activities, etc. The next group should be able to find a clean and usable space and leave it in the same shape for the next group. (Cleaning supplies and vacuum are in the closet opposite the bathroom door.
